"The Travelers"

I had the pleasure of doing Makeup and Hair for a photo shoot "The Travelers" with wonderful photographers Joey and Jessica ( www.joeyjessica.com ), three great models and a very large and fantastic crew.
I received some of the images today and want to share them with you!
This was a long 12 hour day... but didnt feel like it at all because we had such a great time and kept so busy all day!  We got a lot accomplished!  Both print and film was shot! It was a great day!  :)

Makeup brands and products I love and use regularly!

Every day I get asked my models, actors, musicians and friends what makeup brands and products I especially like.  I’m going to list some of my favorites I carry in my pro makeup kit and use all the time on the jobs I do!  These are all brands and products I've used a lot, they have been heavily tested and approved by me personally.  I do have some new brands and products I've used that I'm  loving but haven't used long enough to include them in this blog for my professional recommendation... I'll update those in a future blog :)

~Makeup Forever Invisible Coverage HD!!  (Most used colors in my kit 115, 117, 125, 130, 135, 145, 150 , 175, 177 .  Its very rare for me to use only one color on one person. 95% of the time I use two colors on each person to get the perfect color match as well as for sculpting)

~Kett Airbrush foundations ( they are great used in an airbrush gun or straight from the bottle with a brush)

~MAC Face and Body (I've used Face and Body for underwater shoots and the waterproofness of it held up amazing!)

~Maybelline Falsies Mascara (Love this one for full long thick lashes! But must be sure it is a very fresh tube as it tends to dry fast and start to clump if its not very fresh)

(These mascara’s work better and last longer than any expensive brand I’ve used! And cheap so you can replace very often ensuring freshness)

Lip Liner:

~Smashbox Nude lip liner!  (I use the nude lip colors no matter what lip color I put over it)

~Makeup Forever Aqua Lip

~Nars Velvet Matte

~Maybelline Sensational Lip Liner

~Maybelline Color Stay 14 hour (great to use as a long lasting base coat then topped with any color or gloss, its not drying like many long lasting lip products)

Eye Brows:

~Any of the eye shadow brands I listed for soft natural brows without harsh lines

~MAC self propelling no sharpening pen (great blendablity)

~Smashbox Brow Tech
